The Whitehall Children's Library is a Family Place Library.
Family Place Libraries are centers for emergent literacy, early childhood development, and family support. Our early learning programs include:
Book Babies (Ages 0-2 1/2)
Meets on Thursdays at 11:00am during the months of January, March, May, July, September, and November. Children and their caregivers listen to stories with Miss Kathy, and participate in songs and rhymes.
Registration is not required.

Toddler Storytime (Ages 2 1/2-4)
Meets on Wednesdays at 10:00am during the months of January, March, April, June, July, September, October, and December. Children and their caregivers listen to stories with Miss Kristin, and participate in a variety of learning activities including a craft.

Preschool Storytime (Ages 4-6)
Meets on Tuesdays at 1:30pm during the months of January, March, April, September, October, and December and Wednesdays at 1:30pm in June and July. Children and their caregivers listen to stories with Miss Beverly, and participate in a variety of learning activities including a craft.
Registration is not required.

Parent-Child Workshop (Ages 1-3)
A
five week series for children ages 1-3 and their caregivers. Families play together while early childhood professionals circulate and answer questions in a fun, casual environment.
November/December 2011 & April/May 2012
In person registration opens 6 weeks in advance.
