This book group will focus on a variety of non-fiction titles and meet on the second Tuesday of every month.
Our first title is The Worst Hard Time: The Untold Story of Those Who Survived the Great American Dust Bowl by Timothy Egan. Pick up your book at the Front Desk and join us for coffee and wonderful discussion.

AARP TAX HELP

NOTE: The AARP Tax-Aide Program is a volunteer-run, free tax-preparation and assistance service offered to low- and middle-income taxpayers with special attention to those age 60 and older. Their volunteers are trained and IRS-certified to understand individual federal-tax issues. Their volunteers provide tax assistance as a public service and cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information provided.
No appointments will be taken. It will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
You will need to bring the following documents with you:
- Copy of previous year tax return
- W-2 forms from each employer
- All 1099 forms (1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-MISC. etc.)
- If you sold any assists (stocks, etc.) bring documentation showing purchase price.
- If you receive Social Security, bring Form SSA-1099
- If you receive a pension or annuity bring those 1099R Forms
- All forms indicating you paid taxes
- Social Security Cards with numbers for all dependents
- Tax forms and preparation booklets you receive in the mail
