Fri Sep 8 @ 8pm – Join us for a Star Party presented by the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh (AAAP)! The party will begin at 9:00 in the library, followed by Star Gazing at Brennan Plaza. Bring binoculars if you have them. Many night sky objects can be seen through 10×50 binoculars. You just need to know where to look!

Some of the evening viewing objects that we will be observing:
• The Moon, phase waxing gibbous.
• Planets, Jupiter and Saturn
• The Summer Triangle, stars Vega, Deneb, and Altair
• Messier Identified Objects and Others
• Double Stars and Multiple Stars
• Meteor Showers
• Artificial Satellite fly overs

Come and learn about the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh and astronomy in general. Everyone is welcome to attend. Registration is required.
