Congratulations on your new bundle of joy! The library has a special gift, just for you!
Stop by the Children’s Library for a baby swag bag. We’ll help you register your little one for a library card, and provide information about our Book Babies program!
WHAT IS IT? A canvas bag* to fill with children’s books when you visit the library! Contents include a bib, board book, reading lists and information from the group Baby Needs New Words Each Day and Pennsylvania Library Association “Every Child Ready to Read” brochures.
*Attached to the bags is a tag that you can redeem for a gift: a small box containing a play scarf, shaker egg, recommended books for new babies, library story time and event schedules, and a Giant Eagle gift card – when you come into the library and sign up for a library card.
